Have you ever wondered what it takes to start or manage a nonprofit? If so, this CLE is for you. David Williamson has been an attorney assisting nonprofit corporations in a navigating their legal obligations for over 5 years along with working in several other areas of law. David will be discussing the statutory and IRS regulations that determine incorporation and compliance requirements of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

David served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Lauren Holland and then for the Honorable Karsten Rasmussen in the Lane County Circuit Court. Following these clerkships, David worked for Heltzel Williams P.C., a premiere business law firm in Salem, Oregon, and then for the Center for Nonprofit Law in Eugene, Oregon, a boutique firm specializing in all aspects of nonprofit and tax-exempt law.  David’s practice focuses on all aspects of business law concerning for-profit and nonprofit entities including but not limited to entity formation, tax exemption and general tax law, employment law, real estate, and transactional law.
