Molly Hawkins will educate you on the work of the Victim Assistance Office, which works side by side with the District Attorney's office.  VAOs across Oregon involve victims of crime and their community with a restorative process that diminishes the devastating impact of crime.  The program provides direct victim services, advocates for victim's rights, provides education, promotes public awareness and professional and agency communication.  Much of the VAO's work is performed by trained volunteers.
